Growing up in Shandong amidst a family business, Selina’s foundational experience in waterproofing engineering shaped her innovative spirit. Influenced by her parents’ entrepreneurial ethos, she seamlessly integrated tradition with higher education, acquiring practical expertise and insights. The pivotal moment occurred during her postgraduate studies in Australia in 2016, where she discerned a burgeoning market for waterproof products. Harnessing materials from her family’s factory, Selina established Bemax®, a brand that would subsequently transcend borders. Post-graduation, her tenure at Alibaba honed her skills in integrating e-commerce with traditional trade. Founded in 2020 in Jinan, China, Bemax® now boasts a global presence with offices in China, Australia, and Indonesia. Beyond business success, Bemax® represents a commitment to sustainability in aquaculture membranes, aspiring to be a global leader in synthetic material innovation.
